Boingrot Bounderz are the proud 'veterans' of the Moonclan squig riders – grots who have managed to survive more than a single, violent battle atop their bouncing beast. Clad in rusty iron loon helms, these delusional show-offs skewer enemies with wickedly pointed pokin’ lances.
Miniature Review
What's better than a Squig Herd? A herd of Squigs so big they cn be ridden! This set could either be built as a unit of Squig Hoppers, or the elite Boingrot Bounders. When I was younger I loved the Bretonnians and even painted the original Green Knight, and when it comes to grots this is as close as you can get.
The lances are great, really giving them a knightly feel along with the moon nosed closed helms. Having a range of different poses, with most of the grots struggling to hang on, along with unique lance and helm designs gives each its own personality.
Each squig is made differently too, despite each set of five using duplicate sprues. The larger mouths add a lot of character and depth to the faces. The height from the longer legs and jumping through various mushrooms really helps them tower over normal units on the battlefield.

Roundup
These were a lot of fun, just like the squig herds. I really enjoyed painting the yellow helms as they add so much more character once they're finished. I think that's over 30 squigs in less than a month now, I think there's only a few more to go before I get started on the rest of the army.
