A Blood Claw is a newly inducted Astartes of the Space Wolves Space Marine Chapter and the equivalent of a Codex Astartes-compliant Chapter's neophytes or Scout Marines.
Still struggling to control the spirit of the Wulfen within, Blood Claws are notoriously savage and fiercely aggressive. These hot-headed young warriors cannot wait to prove themselves, charging in howling packs at the frontlines of the enemy in their efforts to garner personal glory.
Miniature Review
I tried to pick out all the wildest hairstyles for the Blood Claws, as they're the youngest and savage of the Space Wolves. Other than that I tried to keep them reasonably in line with the Grey Hunters I painted a while back, largely just switching out the boltguns for bolt pistols.
I made the pack leader a Wolf Guard with a frost axe, giving him a more heroic pose but keeping the fiery hair to keep consistency within the unit. The marine with the plasma pistol alsop has a standard to help identify him, and I gave another marine a flamer to cause maximum damage to units as they charge in.

Roundup
The unit came out nicely, and I really like how the Wolf Guard came out. I wish I changed the standard-bearers head out as he looks more like a Grey Hunter or Long Fang, but otherwise I'm happy to have another unit completed! Next up, some more Space Wolves!
