Rockgut Troggoths have stony hides that are proof against blade, bolt and magical blast alike. Their lumpen claws pass through stone as though it were water, allowing them to scoop up huge clubs and throwing boulders at will. Subtle they are not.
Miniature Review
Back 30ish years ago the old Rock Trolls were some of my favourite miniatures in the Orc & Goblin range. These are the new Gloomspite Gitz versions and they do not disappoint. They have all the charm of the old models but with a modern twist. They're much larger and more intimidating, but still have that goofy troll look about them.
The massive hammers are great, as are the crude bits of armour strapped to them. However, my favorite detail is the gloomspite git being held up ready for a clubbing, with a big smile on his face.

Roundup
I think they came out a bit too blue compared to what I was aiming for. I wanted something a bit more natural and earthy, but they came out a lot more vibrant than I expected. Still, I quite like the end result and the red straps really stand out against the blue skin.
