The Mollog's Mob are an Troggherd warband whose members are the denizens of a dark, damp cave, a Bat Squig, a Stalasquig, a Spiteshroom and Jabbertoads, led by the Dankhold Troggoth Mollog the Mighty. These creatures inhabited a mushroom-littered cavern under the dunes of the Desert of Bones for centuries, its Troggoth master only coming out of it to feed.
Miniature Review
The Mollog's Mob warband is a great set of miniatures with a lot of character. Mollog himself is a huge model with a lot of detail, especially around the face and the scaled skin on the back. I really love the staggered height of the eyes and the squished frog. The Bat Squig is a fun twist on the traditional squig, and the Stalasquig fits in well with the rest of the warband, while the Spiteshroom adds something new with the plume of smoke pouring out of it.

Roundup
I used a few different paints for this project that I wouldn't normally, as well as a few new techniques. For Mollog's skin I started with a dark blue, highlighted it up to a light purple, washed some areas back down, then finally highlighted the raised areas back up. It created a really nice effect and the multiple layers really helped to cleanup any chalkiness left from the drybrushing.
The skin of Mollog matches nicely with the Spiteshroom, while the red mushrooms on his back links to the Bat Squig. The Stalasquig was painted with the same stone effect as the bases, which helps to tie the whole warband together.
