The forests and burrows of Gnomish lands are home to numerous woodland creatures who live alongside their vertically-challenged allies. Some Gnomes have a particular affinity with such animals, preferring the company of foxes, badgers, owls and mice (amongst many others - Ed) to their own kin. Though this might seem strange, this connection with the forest inhabitants is seen as a great honour in Gnomish culture, with Gnomes who possess this ability being referred to as Beastmasters.
Miniature Review
Now this is why I wanted to collect the Glimdwarrow Groundhogs! The animals are great and add so much character to the team. The badger has a really ferocious pose and is nearly as big as the Beastmaster. The goose is also huge and pretty angry looking but also has a great cap. There's even a little chick following closely behind.

I'm really happy with how both the badger and the goose turned out. The badger's face came out really well, and I'm glad I decided to paint the goose as a Canada Goose as it gives it a really interesting pattern over a plain White goose. The Beastmasters follow the same scheme as the rest of the team, so they fit in nicely.
